The Ibero American Investors Corporation (IAIC) is licensed by the Small Business Administration under Section 301(d) of the small Business Investment Act of 1958 as amended and operating under section 301(c). Our pupose is to provide equity capital, long- term loans, and managemnet assistance to qualified small businesses.

Ibero American Investors Corporation was founded in July 1979. The same year an application for licensing was submitted to the US Small Business Administration. The license was granted in September 1979. Throughout its twenty one-year history, IAIC has provided over $23 Million in financing to over 323 minority and women owned businesses, most of them located within the City of Rochester. IAIC previous financing deals have been in the areas where most minority businesses are concentrated, retail and services. In March 2000, IAIC amended its charter so that it could expand its financing activities to include any small business.

IAIC maintains a close relationship with its portfolio companies. In cases where difficulties are encountered, IAIC and the small business managers work closely to identify the source of the problems and develop strategies to provide long term solutions. Whether obsolete equipment or lack of management expertise caused the problem, IAIC and the small business concern will attempt to deal with the situation quickly and efficiently.

Our skills are particularly valuable in situations where we can create a financing opportunity, which would not be otherwise accessible to the small business concern. IAIC has access to financial resources that far exceeds its ability to commit capital.

Our goal is to provide creative solutions to complex financing deals. IAIC brings to the table all of its products and provides the client with a choice of one or a combination of any of the products available to meet the particular needs of the business.
